Curriculum

Our center utilizes HighReach Learning, a research supported curriculum, for use in our classrooms. Through the HighReach Learning curriculum, your child will explore a well-rounded balance of learning experiences and many opportunities to develop important skills needed to be successful in schools.

The HighReach Learning curriculum is developed by a team of early childhood experts, who spend a tremendous amount of time studying educational trends and research, offering the most up-to-date teaching practices to your child.

Following is a small sampling of skills included in the HighReach Curriculum that will be covered in our various programs:

Infants – Language development, cause and effect, approaches to learning, large/small muscle skills, phonological awareness and social/emotional development.

One Year Olds – Language development, color recognition, social/emotional development, creative art and expression, phonological awareness, cause and effect, approaches to learning and large/small muscle skills.

Two Year Olds – Language development, color recognition, problem solving, social/emotional development, creative arts and expression, phonological awareness, shape recognition, cause and effect, approaches to learning and large/small muscle skills.

Three Year Olds – Language development, letter and sound recognition, shape recognition, counting, sequencing, predicting and grouping, cause and effect, approaches to learning, large/small muscle skills, phonological awareness, color recognition, number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, problem solving, social/emotional development and creative arts and expression.

Pre-K Programs – Language development, letter and sound recognition, shape recognition, number concepts, one to one correspondence, estimation, cause and effect, approaches to learning, large/small muscle skills, phonological awareness, color recognition, counting, sequencing, predicting and graphing, problem solving, social/emotional development and creative arts and expression.
